I assume you have a stock valve body. The smarty increases the line pressure causing the gear hunt. I just ordered the following, it claims to fix the issue. I hope to have it installed in the next couple weeks and will let you know.

#REC. This kit was specifically designed to handle higher base pressure in high performance applications and to improve the reliability of the governor solenoid in normal use. In performance units the pressure can flood the Dodge solenoid and cause a no shift condition at full throttle. This is the fix. Fits all rear wheel drive RE model transmissions. Added 9-25-2008. The Smarty does not increase line pressure. These tranny's are not ECM controlled. The only way to increase line pressure is to make a mechanical adjustment or install an after market V.B.:thumbsup:
