I have a '06 with the stock automatic transmission, will i have to do any upgrades to my tranny if i install the Smarty Jr. ?

Also I still have the warranty and don't want to void it if at all possible, i have heard the Smarty is not traceable and that the dealerships can't tell if it has been installed once it is set on stock? Does any one know if this is true.

Any other information opiniions or replies are welcome and appreciated.

Yes it's true, I have had my truck in to the dealer for a code they used the ECM to find the code and it turned out to be the fuel filter. I run my Jr on SW#3 and have had no problems with the tranny, however I don't drive it like I stole it ether. I have dyno'd it tho and still no problems.

I was able to get some TC shudder with the JR stacked with an EZ. Usually only happened when I stomped it in OD. You will be fine with the JR. It was designed for a stock truck.

BTW-- I now have a Smarty SR. and I'm still on the stock tranny-- doin fine.

With the stock wheels and tires I through down 364 RWHP guy could not get the gizmo to stay still enough to get the TRQ #'s. I'm not real sure he got good numbers, when I dyno'ed with out the Jr and no AD 150 I put down 286 RWHP and 522 TRQ.

I figured the Jr would put down more than that. I did 352 hp and 696 tq on a Quad XZT 65 hp tow module. I guess thats about right though.
