so do you think the xrt would be a safer way to go
Im really not looking for loads of added hp just want my truck to run good with no cel and without dpf crap and some smoke like my old 5.9 would be nice

If you are looking for less horsepower and budget minded the smarty Jr is the ways to go. The newer 18me software with the smarty has the timing reduced even more. So there will be no problems to worry about.

Just don't want it to turn into some from the past that you were not here for. I have nothing against the xrt. The emotions can run high when discussing the tuners. I just don't want to go down that road.
