how do i know smarty is all the way off the truck so i can hook up my new programmer? just set back to stock setting and be all good?

I think the only way to tell is see if your smarty is vin locked. It will have a different start screen if it is not vin locked.

When its locked it will have number signs (#) at the 1st screen that appears when you plug it in, the screen that shows the version#

it will be like # then the smarty info#

just want to compare see what the blackmaxx will do to my truck. and smarty isnt a bad programmer its nice i liked it alot i ran 14.5 in the 1/4 mile just smarty and exhaust just want to see what blackmaxx would do like i said. and be able to have gauges also since i dont have any. justhaveing problems right now because i cant get the blackmaxx to download so trying to work on that
