I have recently purchased my Smarty tuner and was going to download a new program but I didn't receive a USB cord with it. How do I go about downloading a new program without the cord?

This was the kind of answer I was looking for. I wasn't sure if any other cord would suffice or if I needed to get one particuliarly for the Smarty.

nope, just a USB-A to a USB-B cable, and about 40 min to load the software onto the smarty from the computer.

Well I have figured out the cord situation but I am apparently retarted about downloading and installing the right programs or procedure for uploading new programs. Any help would be appreciated, from the start.

I just noticed that. . .I loaded the TNT tune onto my smarty and noticed it only took 25 min

25 minutes, wow.... mine only took 14 minutes to load.

Mine only took about 20 and it made a big difference with the revo/tnt. I stack with the 6 Gun and my mileage went up about three mpg and I'm running the TNT on 8 and the Banks on 2 eelout

Well I am still trying to figure out how to get the Revo...

first you need to install the USB driver for your computer. then useing the same cable you would use for a USB printer, connect the smarty up and it will power up. after your computer has finnished loading the proper drivers open the Downloader to load the new software. Once the downlaoder window pops up click file and tell it what program you want to load, then click send. 20 min later you'll be done.

Ok I have the USB driver installed to my computer. When I plug the Smarty in with the USB cable the installer will pop up from windows like normal, i follow the steps but when I get to part where it is "search for the best driver in these locations" I am stuck. What do I type into the box?
