I have a 04.5 2500. No mods except cold air intake. Just had all six injectors replaced. Before smarty I ran about 27lbs of boost with smarty jr on tow I can easily get it up to 35+. Is that normal and more importantly is that safe?

These are normal boost #'s with a smarty and healthy injectors And 35psi is safe.

At what boost pressure should I become concerned? I know my stock maxed out about 26-27. Haven't really hammered the throttle so I don't know exactly what is not safe for the truck

I've been told the stock turbo is not efficient past 34psi. After that your just pushing hot air. How much boost can the stock head bolts take before you take out the head gasket? somewhere around 45 psi. High EGT's with high boost levels take out head gaskets.My stock wast gate comes unseated and dumps boost past 35psi.

I hit 43 psi with my stock turbo almost daily for a year and it was still in great condition when I pulled it. You're fine man.
