i was looking around for a single piece driveshaft to be built for my long bed srw 4x4. called up austin drivetrain and the guy basically laughed me for asking if he could build a custom aluminum driveshaft for this truck.

what gives ? can we seriously not have a 1 pc driveshaft on a long bed ?

say bro, I have a mega Cab, which your drive shaft will be the same as mine being that we sit on the same frame, i have the 2 piece steel i am thinking hard about getting a 1 alu. there is a guy on here that builds them, been in the business a long time. he gave me a rough quote of 600 for one, it may be more at the end!!

i saw that. wouldnt mind paying for a good 1 pc driveshaft, but shipping would be a monster. ill hit em up and see .

it was funny, the guy at austin drivetrain basically laughed at me.
i cant help it that they cant do it, i should be laughing at his arse.
