Ring's gone

My dodge is my first diesel---my "hot rod" I could never afford when I was young so to speak. Your silencer ring is on the air box side of the turbo. When you take the tube off you can see a 3" diameter "snap" ring in the inside of the turbo inlet. This is your silencer ring- can remove it w/ a flat screw driver (that's how I did it) and to be honest- it doesn't make a HUGE amount of difference in the sound nor the hp. (yes ran mine on the dyno at a dyno day 2x). You probably know a helluva lot more about how to make power with this motor- Good Luck.
