What is the significance of the map readings? I have a 2005 and an Edge insight which has a default setting of 40 for an alarm code.On hard acceleration the alarm on the edge goes off.
Is there a problem or is the alarm setting too low/high?
Not understanding what it does makes it difficult to know if there is a problem or not. There are no codes showing.

Thanks

The sensor is reading absolute pressure ,so 0 psi = 14.5 on your scale.
40-14.5= 25.5 psi and you are probably hitting this boost pressure.

I would set it to 45 or 47 as an alarm point.
