Hey guys,

Went and looked at an 07.5 2500 4x4 quad cab long box (6.7L) today.

200km(120k) mile, EGR and DPF deleted (but no programmer??) And also throwing all these codes not related to EGR or DPF

P0004
P2509
P2690
P0562
P2691

And has the little lightning bolt signal thing on in the dash.

Did a little bit of research and it seems that most of those codes can be caused by old batteries, or bad connections and and a bad ground.

Just looking for some insight. Asking price is 18k which is too much imo ( it's a little rough) but any advice is appreciated. im also worried about emissions test as I live I ontario, Canada . Not sure how a dealership can sell it e tested haha.

The price for the km's on the odometer isn't bad BUT why is a dealer selling it with it throwing codes? That would be a concern for me. I would personally keep looking.

He said he would get those taken care of but it still seems kinda shady that he can sell it without emissions stuff.

I'm only thinking about it because it's a bit cheaper than other trucks in the same condition/ mileage.
