just had a new tranny installed/replaced.

started shopping for a new TB and VB.

friend brought up a good point, if i upgrade the TB and VB, will it void my new warranty*?

if so, why bother?



*3yr/36k tranny warranty from dodge.

The trans mods will be undetectable to the dealership while the tranny is "in the truck". Once they tear it open, they probably won't be smart enough to notice a modified valve body, but the TC will be a giveaway. However, your new trans parts should be covered by their manufacturer.

The dealer ship CANNOT void your warranty unless they can prove the after market part(s) caused the problem.
