I have had issues with my transmission since I got the truck. When I am easy on the skinny pedal usually around the 30mph range its like its doesnt shift quick enough. It revs a bit and shifts. I have had the solenoid replaced to try to fix this and it didnt work. Any one run into this or have any ideas? When I am on it it seems to shift fine.

There is a TSB for it. Of course it must be done by the dealer. Not going there! My temporary fix is more throttle & my permanent fix is a Goerend TC & VB.

Man, i just installed the TS Performance shift master and it solved the problem. it shifts alot more firm and not near as erratic. it actually shifts as if you had put an aftermarket VB in it. you might look into something like that. pretty good results for $350 bucks, i thought!

DTT's shift enhancer is only $240 and a TransGo shift kit is less than $100.

Either one will fix the problem. :thumbsup

Did they replace the Transducer also when they did the Governor Pressure Solenoid Valve? If not that may be your problem as they work together.
Replacing them both at the same time fixed mine though I can't be sure which one actually did solve the problem ... or if both did.

yea 350 is a little much, i've had some good feedback on it though, not to mention it's easier and cheaper then doing a valve body.
