I finally got to set the valves today. Well it actually went very well. I can really tell a difference in noise and response. All in all it took aprox 2 hrs. Including having to go buy another torque wrench (broke my previous one). Thanks for all the help.

how do you set the valves on an 01?

go and buy a chilton or haynes manual. That's what I did and it walked me through it, every step. Or you could just do a search on here and a lot of articles will turn up. good luck with it.

Does this need to be done with the engine warmed up? ie, close to operating temp?

Valve adjustment should be done with the engine cold! (Below 140*F)
