My sales person told me the BigHorn comes with Alarm? Sure hope when my truck is built it has what I ordered and the things they tell me the Big Horn came with.
Was told by u-Connect that our truck must be locked via the FOB in order to activate the alarm. Pressing the lock button on the door and then closing it won't activate it.
Haven't tested what they told me, but I now lock the truck with the FOB.
Lock the truck with the FOB, window down, reach in to unlock the door and open it, the alarm trips, try it. Also, when the alarm is active, there is a red blinking dot present in the speedometer. It's a Big Horn option, but standard on a Laramie.
The alarm also goes off if you lock the truck with the FOB and unlock it with the key. At least that's how mine worked on my Outdoorsman at 7:00 the other morning Had to stop it with the FOB too.
