Just got done installing a lightning vp pump from scheid on a 2001 stock injectors, lines and crossover tube. Motor is being fed by a fass 150 pump. At idle the truck has white smoke not much but you can see it and smell it but the smoke goes away when the rpm's are raised. Is this normal for the pump?? I have no air in the lines. I am going to pull the injectors to have them tested just to make sure they are ok if it is not normal for the pump to smoke... Also with this truck being a auto will it hurt anything going to .093 tubes??

:agree2: I have that same pump in my 01 and it did not smoke white at idle until I had an Injector go south on me. I think I would get your sticks tested just to be sure man.
Did just that 5 out of the 6 was bad. put 6 new injectors in and still a little white smoke at idle:confused013: Owner said he was going to drive it no code no loss of power and no miss...

first, are they stock injectors?

white smoke as in raw fuel white smoke? or as in blown head gasket coolant white smoke?

check your oil for fuel or coolant? check your coolant for oil?
stock injectors yes and no fuel in oil ,oil in coolant or sludge in oil. exhaust smells like fuel similar to my 3rd gen truck but my compression ratio has been lowered to 14.5:1 and this truck is stock compression
