Anyone running this turbo on the street? How street able is it?

Dragon Fire. I wouldn't expect it to be much different with an SO pump if you ran a timing box/programmer

Not really the best street turbo but its almost at the highest spot you'd want in the rpm. The biggest single I'd like in the s400 frame would be the 471.

no. more due to the fact that edge dumps fuel down low. timing wasn't the issue. you can not get enough timing with a vp.

So your saying once the turbo lite, the edge lacked feeding the fuel?

huh, what box did you run with it then? or are you p-pumped?

He had a TST/TS(last setup I knew of) stack before he p-pumped.

Its set to defuel around 3200-3400 rpm. Where the tst is around 36-3700.

ohh gotcha. so would it not be worth running a turbo like this with the edge?

no. firemed is correct. the edge slobbers fuel down low too soon causing a delay in spool and excessive smoke. and i didn't like having a 1200rpm power band.....2000rpm-3200rpm. tst/ts mvp was by far more fun to drive and less smokey.

off-road. i ran mine with tst pm3/ts mvp. then tst comp/ts mvp. tst comp/edge and then edge juice w/attitude hot. edge flat out sucked. no idea why everyone preaches them.

I watched someone go from a 12.6 to 12.1 from switching from an edge to redline. I think monster pumps can have a little higher timing. I don't know if offsetting the keyway affects much

thanks JL, i personally run mine for the gauges aspect and the built in ability to set safeties and alarms..... and because i didn't know better....

For most people I believe it's fine. I'm keeping my jwa even when I get a redline. I may even do a comparison dyno

Ha ha I quit worrying about mileage along time ago. I've got a bone stock 99 I drive if I need mileage. I'd like to test different injector sizes too while I'm at it
