I'm looking to upgrade my turbo and transmission at the end of this month. In addition, I just ordered my EDGE JWS CTS.

I eventually plan on building a towing compounds kit (s300/s400) with approximately 600rwhp. With that said, I'm leaning towards a S363 from CPP. I am not too knowledgeable on turbos and I was wondering if someone could educate me on how the different options available with affect my install & driveability of the turbo.

There is a T4 .88 & .91 A/R with either a John Deere or HX40 flange. Or they offer T3 .70 A/R non-gated with either a HE351 or HX40 flange.

Typically a towing twins you want to spool as fast as possible to help get the load moving from a stop and keep egts down. You can run that setup, but you said towing twins, so it's really not ideal. You want peak torque ASAP when towing. If you do get the s363, remember you manifold has a T-3 foot. Also if you did get one of the T-4 options, it would probably take quite a while to spool it.

id get a super B if i were you... then when your ready for compounds youll have your secondary... Dont do like i did, i bought my 63/65/14 with no intention to run twins but now im gonna be running twins and i dont rerally want the slower spool up of my 63 in a twin set up so ill be buying a super b when im ready

different turbo imo. the t4 housing are gonna make it spool like poop in a set of twins. and a non-gated turbo in twins is a no-no like ghost said. check out agp turbos too. lots of options out there for you.

Thanks for your imput! I think I am going to stop being adventurous and stick to my plan on a HE351 over S400.

One last question, are all the HE351CW's the same spec or are there different options I should look for?

HE351 is a much better choice, just make sure you bore out the WG opening as large as possible.
How much bigger should I drill the hole?

Also, is the exhaust elbow mandatory for the install?

just slightly smaller than the "puck".

no jkidd sells a down pipe that fit very nicely. that is the route i took. also a spring waste gate works much better than the factory actuator. i gasket matched the inlet on my last housing and it seemed to like it.

Does JKidd sell the spring waste gate too? Should I use a turnbuckle on it?

a shop in michigan is where i got the spring gate for. they are very easy to make and there are many different ways to make one. the spring gate will also make it easier when clocking the housing.

What do you guys think about a 60/60/16 6-blade HX40? I know there are a million and one threads comparing them to HE351CW. However, I've never seen anyone post from experience...
