That really sucks man I am sorry to hear that. You have to have proper accountability of all tools and rags when working anywhere near a vehicle. I thought I left a rag in the intercooler when I upgraded to my banks. I almost a brick because of the time it took for me to install. Also i knew a guy who left a rag in his transmission pan needless to say he stop moving in the middle of the desert and couldn't figure out why when he just rebuilt the tranny a week or so before the event.

Wow that's awesome I didn't know that, I take mine to autozone for any check engine light that pops up.

You may have just left one of the clamps loose. When I did my intercooler I had a bad boost clamp and every so often my CEL would pop up saying not boost pressure detected. Once I replace that clamp it hasn't popped up since.
