Truck runs good, idle smooth, except feels like turbo is not kicking up the boost when I get on it. Also some blow by when oil cap removed. Help!

Do you have a boost gauge to see what the turbo is doing? What year of truck do you have? A little more back ground into your problem please.

2005 1 Ton, don't have boost gauge. 691,000 miles. Had new AC compressor installed just before this happened. Also dryer and screen line. How do you test boost? At what point?

You can plumb a gauge into the intake horn by drilling and tapping it or with a boost bolt that some places carry.

Also try doing a search for manometer test in this powertrain forum to see if it is a test you want to try yourself. That's if you're thinking the blow-by is excessive.

low boost will usually produce a code.
key on three times trick

your A/C techs probably knocked a boost side boot or steel hose loose. or they took one off for access and didn't seal properly.

god forbid if they broke your plastic tanks on the 2005 intercooler
