The first thread doesn't have working links to the pictures. This thread does. Here's what your looking for:

The wiring is located around the A/C compressor, and it's part of the crank position sensor circuit (some weird Dodge engineering I'm guessing).

Basically what you need to do is get a few inches of small diameter split loom tubing and a couple zip ties to keep it from shorting out. Some have a few pics of what they did to fix the issue and if you could please, add them to this thread.

Also, if a mod could maybe stick this thread, be great.

Good job with the picture. I wrapped my harness with a bicycle inner tube. No problems so far. It would be better if I could just clean off the wiring harness and shrink wrap it then wrap it in a tube.

Just did it today. I split some vac tubing and zip tied it away from the compressor bolt.

Last I was under there, I doused the wiring in brake parts cleaner. Sooner or later, I'll unwrap the crappy tape they used and get a good visual before I wire loom them.

many brake parts spray cleaners melt plastic such as wiring insulation and plugs/sockets, not a good thing.

C.rank P.osition S.ensor is Cummins engineering.

The wiring is POS Chrysler design and implementation made in Mexican factory
