I am looking at a set of Moto Metal 957 that are 17x9. They stated that the weight rating is 3,000 lbs per wheel. I plan on doing some heavy towing on a gn and a good amount of towing with a tag along (9K to 12K lbs), would this wheel be strong enough or should I look for a stronger wheel? Thanks for any and all info.

That seems a little bit light duty, as most "E" rated tires can carry more than that per tire. I could be wrong though.

Look at some of the high-end wheels, and see what they carry.. Weld, and Centerline are known for extremely strong wheels.

So I should look for a wheel that would match or exceed the capacity of an E rated tire? I guess it will need to exceed 3400 pounds?
