I was thinking about adding the Roadmaster sway bay for a more planted feel in the back. I was also thinking about adding the Sumo Springs as well. Would this be a good combination or would it be counter productive?

Without changing the front sway bar the addition of a rear sway bar will tend to make the handling go towards the oversteer direction.
The diameter of the bar will determine the amount of change.Understeer has always been built in to american production cars and trucks.

Lighter up front will give you less understeer

I installed a Hellwig rear sway bar on my 13 2500 and love it. It feels more planted in curves and I like knowing I have it when I'm towing my 5th wheel. Didn't seem to be counterproductive at all. I think I posted some pics somewhere on here...
