Favorite memory was camping the first year after I sold my quad cab and bought this truck. I spent every single trip fixing wiring issues somewhere or another. The reverse camera did something funky and in trying to track down the issue my son and I forgot to push the dash bezel back in all the way. On the way home we were grumbling about having to fix the issues when we hit a bump and the dash bezel flew off. Scared the crap out of us and then we had to pull over because we were laughing so much about it.

Appreciate the reply. Since this is the first one, I'll be a bit lenient on the rules, but going forward I'd prefer we stick to 3 pics max, to keep the thread clean and organized.
You have a nice looking truck
One of us could have removed the extra photos for you.
Possibly I can restore your post and leave just 3 pics if you want.
My favorite memory that I have with this truck is that I won this truck from a YouTuber giveaway! (Durtymax Jack/Enthuzst Apparel) and also the fact that it’s a manual diesel it’s soo fun to drive. I was raised around diesel trucks and always had a passion for them but never got to own one until a little over a year ago!

Absolutely love this truck, out of all the trucks I’ve had I’m most in-love with this one. What true diesel enthusiast doesn’t long to own a manual 12 valve? The throttle snap/response, the sound, the smell. Came across this truck while shopping for a new Ram 2500 and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to own a lien mileage piece of history. They make new trucks every day. They will never make 12 valves again.

My favorite memory of the truck, is from the second picture posted. We drove through Yosemite after a wind storm that had 80+ mph winds that absolutely wrecked the park and surrounding area. Because the truck was so capable, we were able to get over trees and obstacles that no one else could, and we were able to explore areas of Yosemite, that are normally slammed with tourists, completely alone. It was an incredible trip that I will never forget, and it was all because of the capability of the truck!

i like everything about this truck and its my daily driver and tow rig (work and play)> My favorite roadtrip was last fall with my son to go pick up his 2016 AEV Equipped 2500 QuadCab Laramie in Traverse City, a 10 hour drive one way, thru the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. That took us to our first trip across Mackinac Bridge. The waves on the north shoreline were big enough to surf on and the wind was 45mph with up to 65 mph gusts. Listening to the bridge radio station that gives instructions and warnings in that erie computer voice made it intense as we got closer. We stopped at the gas staion before the bridge and the lady asked if we were going over the bridge .. my son replied "yes" and she looked at us and said "good luck"...I was white knuckling it now as we approached the bridge .. wind howeling and raining...once we got up on the bridge it was awesome. The next day the weather was the same and we went back over...fun father son trip...

Best memories with this truck was our first trip with it to Pigeon Forge, Tenn. It hauled our 42' Cedar Creek 5th wheel with no hesitation at all. Even the wife mentioned how much better it felt on the highway, compared to the 2003 GMC 3500 that we replaced with this truck.
Truck is a 2004.5 Ram 2500 reg cab short bed that I built and shortened myself. Mods include BBi stage 1.5 injectors, Fleece stroker CP3, arp headstuds, Fleece cheetah turbo on a second gen manifold, custom Firepunk tuning using HP tuning, Goerend triple disc converter, billet input shaft on a basically stock rebuild and a performance valve body, 3.42 gears, second gen rear disc brakes to fit the 15 inch rear wheels for drag racing, 4 inch mbrp exhaust, body color grille and front bumper and rear roll pan and last but not least a Fass pump to supply the dinosaur squeezins. My favorite memory is winning the event depicted in the photos and talking to people that actually realize what they are looking at. It’s a sleeper.

Me and this truck have a love hate relationship. However my favorite experience in this truck was when my 10 year old son and I were out riding one day. We ran across some young men felt it was a good day to go mudding in their moms "modified" Suburban. Mind you it was lifted with some nice mall crawling wheels and Nitto ridge grapplers. They where about a mile off the main dirt road here in south Florida. We offered to help but, they said their buddy with his jeep is going to get them out. Of course the kid showed up with no strap. We lent them some gear and took a good viewing perspective. My son was so excited to see them fail. The jeep hooked up and spun like a prius with some bald tires in wet grass. Soon he was stuck. So we unhooked the jeep and moved it out of the way. I took my 3/4'' dual lead chain with foundry hooks and hooked to moms ride. I put the panda in 4 low and stood on the break built some boost and hit the end of the chain we budged but little movement. I asked the kid if he was in in drive. He said yes. At this point i was dreading that kids position. My son got out and ran the winch cable out and wrapped a strap to a pine tree and hooked the winch in. We managed to get the Suburban out but the fun was not over. He had smoked the transmission fighting the death grip if the mud. The inside was covered in mud. The jeep and I had placed some nice dings in it from the flying dirt. Now I began to tow him home. We got them home his parents came out once they herd me in the drive and all hell broke loose this kid was screwed. Turns out the Suburban was less than a month old and it is trashed. My son always talks about that day and how he would never do that. We will see about that.

I just purchased it Dec 5th 2020. It's my daily driver and so far the only memorable trip I've had with it, was when I bought it last December and on the 220 mile trip home, it started dead pedaling. I had no tools with me and I had to deal with it all the way home.
