I think i heard one guy on here that did. If its backed by Edge then you should be fine. If not then i wouldnt test it.

Yep i got one and have been running it for about a month. It came packed in factory packing and came with warranty and new egt probe, turbo timer and worth the savings. After i bought one two of my freinds got one too and they have had no problem. I think buying a rebuilt one is better than a used one.

A few years ago I was in charge of quaility control overseeing the production of a few electronic devices. The odd unit came back on warranty. I would go through the unit and determine the cause of failure. Usually it was just a blown fuse, but I would test all of the circutry anyway. These units would not go back to the public for sale, but our employees would get to purchase them for a discounted price. The units that I tested never had a problem after they were gone through. I considered the return units to be a more reliable product as they were tested, repaired and had gone through a more rigorous quality control process.

I agree rockwerx. the company i purchased my unit through was a dealer for edge and the warranty applies for the units edge refurbishes.

mine was a refurb off of ebay, got the wrong moniter, and edge took care of it, seen what i'd paid and everything. the guy i bought it from was an mvp dealer.

I bought one... No problems so far. I bought one for an 2001 truck... so the map and data link connector were different. I called edge up and they shipped me a new, correct harness for free. And i got the hot unlock code :T:

I have one i bought from dealmonger i believe it was and i have had no problems with it the egt probe looked brand new. Everything, the box, the probe, the attitude monitor it all looked brand new. No scratches dings nothing and i saved a lot of money. I only paid 400.00 for mine.

that's about how it was for me, but i think it was for little less and the wrong moniter, but it's taken care of now :thumbsup

Got mine there also. 325.00. Had for over a month, and it's still sitting in the box. How would I know if I got the wrong monitor? Might be a stupid question, but it looks like the attitude. I had better be finding out though, before the 90 days is up.
