Went to etrailer to do some research on a new 5th wheel hitch. Low and behold they have the Reese hitches for the 5th wheel prep package. Looking at ordering the R20.

When you say they have hitches for the 5er/GN prep package, what do you mean...Is it the interchangeable legs that fit into the puck holes that work with different Reese 5er hitches? How much does it cost?
Reese 5th wheel hitch's with their version of the adapter. Link has the info:

Not bad, looks pretty good, and the prices seem very good...If one already owns a Reese hitch, (like I do), have the 5er/GN prep package and want to save a little money, it appears they can get the hitch rails that fit in the puck holes cheaper than they can get the picture frame adapter.....believe it'll work for some..
Problem is, that says that it's for the LONG bed. But it should work with the short bed. But is there a slider base? I really like my SG, but PullRite dosen't sound like they're moving too fast to modify their heavier SG's (20K+) for use w/Ram adapter/Pucks. Very non_commital about the 24K SG that mounts directly on the pins w/o rails. I asked if I could bolt it on a plate out-fitted with pucks? A very disheartening "Do what you have to do" was what I got back. The ISR's only go to 18K.

Those are for above bed rails not the pucks (unless you have the adapter)
