hey im gonna be running my truck in the redwood acres fair sled pulls and i was wondering if anybody had any pointers? i have a 6 spd manual with 5:32 gears( i believe) and i also have a TST powermax. what gear should i start in, what setting should i run my TST at and what psi or rpm should i launch at? any help would be great:thumbsup

definately 4 lo, how many times are you planning on pulling on the stock clutch...? if you go 4 hi the t-case will never hold it

i have a heavy duty clutch... ran around with the TST set at 9/9 for a long time and the clutch started slippin like a..... so yea. and im probly just going to pull at local pulling events which would be maybe 4 times a year.

i pull mine in 4lo and 4th gear... i leave the sled at about 40 pounds of boost... the truck will let you know when you need to let it eat so to speak... but my DD is a hybrid ceramic, feramic combo on a 3850 pressure plate so i let mine slip then it hooks when i let it all out there and let er rip at 55psi...lol but im hard on mine!

without a dual disk i wouldnt try 4th gear though

sounds like you know what your doing! lol ! i was thinking third and at like 38 boost? sound good?

honestly the truck will push your foot on the clutch when its ready to leave let it eat!!!

just dont slip it too much or youll be calling south bend on the next buisness day!!!
