I have an uncle looking for a turbo for an 01 chevy 6.6l and don't feel the traffic on the other sub forums will get much response compared to this one. Do you guys have anyone in particular you go to for a turbo replacement in Texas? The dealer is quoting him 2500 or so for a new one and 1600 for a rebuilt one but i've been able to find rebuilt ones from the typical sites for around 1000. I've checked the name brand places -

performance4trucks

This is related to 03-07 cummins because i remind him often how my 04.5 cummins can tow him home anytime his duramax's have issues :hehe:.

thanks in advance

haha nice! I don't know what his intentions are for the truck but i'm thinking he's going to recycle it in his plumbing business and keep it working. in that case your advice is greatly appreciated.

Get a hold of HighTech turbo or I know Majestic turbo is in Texas if you want them to rebuild it.I personally had my stock turbo done by HTT and it was 325. I paid a little extra and just next day delivery to get it quick.
