I have a 07 2500 6.7 with a delete kit and chip that were installed about a yr and in the last month started having problems with slipping tranny. So we decided the tranny needed to be replaced after researching. Just installed a rebuilt Jasper 68RFE after finished install test drove it shifted beautifully then parked it for about 30 and left the shop then started having problems shifting. Tranny temp was up to 170 and threw a P0732 code. Any ideas?

P0732 = Gear Ratio Error in 2nd, which means the trans was slipping in 2nd gear.

First things to check are fluid level, and line pressure. With a scan tool you can read Line Pressure and compare to Desired Line Pressure (they should match, except sometimes at idle LP will be lower than DLP). If LP is lower than DLP (or is unstable when DLP is holding constant), or if you can't get a scan tool to read it, then I would suggest dropping the oil pan and checking the filters. Look for main (flat) sump filter snout dislodged from the seal in the pump (it should be pushed up THROUGH the seal, not just resting against it), seal loose or misinstalled (the metal seal flange should be flush against the pump casting all the way around), filter snout cracked at the base, filter split open along side seam, or for spin-on filter that is loose (or fallen out).
