Came across a new set of rear fender liners that will fit my ‘98 12 valve. Has anyone installed these on a long bed 2 wheel drive? Are they worth the trouble to install?

Those rear fender wheel liners were standard (or at least really, really common) on the 4WD trucks (both my second gen 4x4's had them). So they shouldn't be to hard to come across in the salvage yard.

I like them, reason being is they keep rocks and road grime off the rear supplemental air bags mostly. They only install with those little plastic Christmas tree push pin things , so its not hard to install them, no downside to them as far as I can tell (not like they weigh very much or anything).

Checked out a couple 4x4s in my area and decided to put them on the inside. Ordered plastic push pin retainers from Amazon. As soon as I get done moving snow I can put the tractor in the cold part of the garage again and get the truck down low enough to work on again.
