I have an 04 3500 w cummins 6sd, dually with 4.10.
Would a 2000 dana bolt in? What kind of mpg boost could I expect from 3.55 gears? I now get 17 plus @ 70 @ 2400 rpm. Would this change work well pulling a 14000lb fith wheel? I get anywhere from 10 to 13 mpg pulling.

I would leave it just as it is. I think with the 4.10 gears that truck is rated to pull around 13k-14k.

If you want to try what it would be like, just try a larger tire size. That has the same effect as a gear change.
