ok so my 07 mega cab i have the factory rear ves system with the 7 or 8 inch flip down. So last night my daughter went to go and use the system while we was driving, and the screen it self will not turn on. But the wireless head set works and plays the sounds. so i need all the help i can get with figuring out why the screen will not turn on. my daughter is not a happy camper.:confused013:

I'm pretty sure that the DVD system should throw diagnostic codes when not working properly. Other than that, an actual diagnosis would probably involve the DVD screen assembly being taken apart and/or shooting wires. I don't think it could be as simple as a fuse since you are getting audio, but worth a shot.

I did not think so either but I was hoping there was a rest button or some way bypass the screen
