I had the diff oil changed at 15,000 miles when I had the Mag-Hytech diff covers installed. I have 75w90 back there and will be pulling a 12,000lb trailer to Michigan from Arizona this week. I have 19,000miles on the truck now.

Do I need to change the rear diff again to a 75w140 oil, or is the oil in the diff new enough that it should be fine?

I was kind of curious about the frequency of those changes myself. Did I read every 15,000 miles in my book? That seems a little rediculous, unless your towing 30,000 lbs every mile of it's life, don't you think?
