on my 07 5.9 2500 HD the rear brakes are locking up under hard braking, anti lock kicks in on wet pavement. I`m actually getting far more brake dust on the rear wheels than the front. my concern is not getting it fixed before the snow fly`s. My first thought is the proportioning valve is causing this. Any thoughts ?

Check for fluid leaks. Axle grease from a leaking seal or brake fluid from a leaking caliper can both contaminate brake linings. Once contaminated replacement is the only option. While you can clean oil off a piece of metal once it has seeped into linings it is there to stay.

You should have posted this in the http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-non-powertrain/ section.

A mod will move it there.
