hello everyone. New to owning a diesel, but I hear a noise that I can't figure out. When I accelerate I hear a rattling sound, like fuel knock. It does not sound like a mechanical loseness type of rattle. The ram dealer looked at it, not sure they really know what the are doing. Any ideas what could be causing it?
Its a 2018 ram with 52000 kms.

Thanks

I have read the 17 or newer sometimes have a rattle from the lift pump in the fuel tank that is a real gremlin for owners to locate. I don't know if this might be what you are hearing but may be something to check.

Noticed the differences the first time between a 5.9 and 6.7 when I heard my first 6.7 sound. It has a definite rattle noise like the Heavy Duties do. Don't know if its the sound your hearing, but the 6.7 has more rattle to it, than the 5.9.
