do a search on here for injector pump gear timing, many have cured noisy cummins with this fix, gonna try it on mine soon
snake oil.... won't do a thing.

from the service manual...........

FUEL INJECTION PUMP TIMING
With the Bosch injection pump, there are no mechanical adjustments needed or necessary to accomplish fuel injection timing. All timing and fuel adjustments are electrically made by the engine mounted Engine Control Module
(ECM).

Please show me where it's been proven. For one, if the CP3 has never been off, why would there be a problem ?? The CP3 is driven by the cam gear and it is possible to have some gear lash between the two but, it's not a cause of valve train rattle.

Those who have tried it my have thought the rattle was gone cause it may have taken some lash out of the gears but, the rattle most have is NOT from the CP3.

With dual CP3's, the top pump is ran by a belt.... there's no way to adjust anything. Same thing goes with the bottom pump. There are no timing marks to line it up with and if it needed to be timing, there would be
