do a search on here for injector pump gear timing, many have cured noisy cummins with this fix, gonna try it on mine soon

Been meaning to do this myself but haven't gotten around to it. Seems to be helping quite a few...

The mechanics of it have been proven. There are 3 pumps in the CP and 3 engine TDC's per cycle. That means, if they are "aligned," it is very possible for the differential of power stroke and intake stroke to be causing gear lash between the two...

How can it be snake oil if many, many people have confirmed it?

Yes, there is no "timing" per say...I'm not going to argue this. I really don't care if you believe it or not...

Did you ever do yours?

No...never did get around to it but I do know people that did do it with great results.
