Rattle after EGR delete

Hey guys! Lookin for an opinion here! I finally got around to doing my EGR delete on my 2012 3500. After doing delete when I'm cruising at about 1100 rpm I'm getting a real loud rattle. I can not get it to repeat by just sitting in my driveway idling it up, or by putting my foot on the break and loading it. :confused013: I'm running the mini max. I don't think it a timing rattle, but it is definetly loud. Hopefully someone can help me!

Hmm. Weird. What brand of delete and maybe a photo of what you took off? The only thing different between driving and siting still on throttle I would think would be the amount of boost.
I spooled it up to about 5-7lbs nothing! At idle it seems to be louder too but I figured it would of been. I'm baffled to what it is! But it's a loud rattle that wasn't there this am when I drove it to the shop!
Could your trans dip stick be rattling against something at a certain rpm range? Did you use the dip stick support? How about the tube the coolant bypass hose connects to, is it still secured? Is the rattle in the motor or around it? Good luck
I'm thinking same deal. Did you bolt the new support to manifold and re attach trans tube?
Yes I did all that! I gave up last night! Back at trying to trace this down! Gonna triple check make sure everything it tight
Had same issue, later it became apparent at idle. Open you hood and you will notice the EGR cooler line vibrating violently at certain RPM. If your EGR/Tranny dip stick bracket (Provided with EGR delete kit) isn't properly tightened it will vibrate and make that noise. Reinforce that bracket to eliminate woble and your problem will disappear. good luck!
Cool I am going to check that right now! Yes mine was doing it at idle this morning when it was cooler outside and the eb was on. Thanks a lot I will let you know what I find!
One thing tho, the plug that came with my kit has a bolt that goes into it and holds it tight to that plate. Tranny dipstick all that stuff it tight. Of coarse I just went outside to check and its not doing it at idle. :banghead: its pissing me off cause its not just a minor rattle its LOUD!!

This would help to identify. A lot of different kits.
To be honest I'm not sure what kit it is, I bought it from the mechanic at work, and he got it from Supreme Diesel! It def not a sinister what I wanted!
