Have you ever had windshield mounted lights? I have and the glare over rides any benifit the lights may add. I removed mine (Jeep) after a month. There are no kits but if you really wanted it then it wouldn't be hard to make a bracket.

Yeah, I had a rack made and mounted 5 KC day lighters just above the windshield (set back slightly over the roof) and the glare was awful.

I've had a few rides in trucks with the LED bar up top no glare I can see, tons of baja runners do it...

Have to pick the correct lamp for the job.
Apples to Oranges. Baja trucks for the most part have a flat or matte paint, not the high gloss we have. Also lights mounted on top of the windshield are not as bad as those on the A-pillar right above the hood. On the roof is fine. Plus that LED light bar is probably more of a pencile beam than flood.

I think the problem is having the beam of light aimed along your line of sight from its origin to destination, that will cause glare regardless of what you do as you're staring through the full length of the beam. Anyone done a police spotlight on our trucks? That would be a ton more useful for me on old lease trails than another set of stationary fogs.
