Below is my pic for my stock fuel filter housing. This is off my 2000 (Left Pic). Now after reading Official How to install raptor 150/drawstraw/ (great write up :thumbsup, his is the older style (Right pic), like my old '99 RIP.

So how do I install my AD Raptor to my filter housing (Left pic)? There are no fittings on the top like the (Right pic). :S:

follow the fuel line out of your vp44, just study where the fuel goes

hmmm you might just have to run that baby into your VP. Does the Raptor run Filters on it? If It does you could just plumb it right into the your VP. If not you better find a filter setup of some kind.

So do i need a draw straw or no?

if you dont have a external lp then you have the intank one then yes you need a drawstraw. Did you look for the stock lp?

theres two lines on your filter housing one under it that goes to the vp and on towards the top on the back. thats where you plug the raptor fuel line in. easier just to pull it off. Drain it out clean out the housing throw a new filter and oring in and attachthe new fitting on the back and stick it back on.:thumbsup:

Ok i had to go look. but i do have an exterior lp. So no on the draw straw. I haven't been able to get under the truck much to look at the fuel filter due to no shop and poor weather. So I'll check that out. Just so I know, when did Dodge go to this newer style fuel filter setting. I had a '99 and it wasn't like this?

Back to point. Go from under the filter to Vp. And fall the lp lines too. ?????

its in 2000 they changed it, on your filter housing there should be 2 lines one going in and going to the vp, you run your wires and lines and just plug it back together like it was stock, just you remove the stock lp.

Ok I think I understand it better now. I was just thrown off by that new look. I haven't even gotten the pump on yet but just thinkin of it in my head. what i get for thinking lol
