Rail Pressure above MAX limit?

739 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  RDyson
thought it was kind of wierd. messing with a LLY maxx on the freeway and under WOT i threw a code. smarty told me " rail pressure above MAX limit"! if it happened at WOT why would the rail pressure be high? i was on the revo software and i went back to the beta software thinking the revo parameters were messing with the rail pressure and it did it again. it of course only does it when im at freeway speeds at WOT for a good pull.

any insight on why this would be happeneing? how could it even happen with a stock fuel system? i figured if anything i should be draining the rail under a load, not seeing "max" pressure.

I have a similar problem, if i am an a real rough road (Idaho Freeway) my truck will shut off and that code gets thrown on mine as well so very curious as to why?
lets just say i was ridin his bumper up to about 110mph, if i had room to get around him i would have ;)
looks like its time for bigger sticks :)

You might make sure all the connections are tight. I've had to zip-tie them together with a module I used to have.
