Anyone know if there is a radio wiring adaptor to hook a Kenwood to the factory wiring? Seen one on Crutchfield but it's for a 2007 1500. Don't know if it will work or not.

Hmmm...good question. call them and find out. I just bought a Kenwood from them myself, and of course they have all the adapters and whatnot. Makes for a super easy install!

There is a company out there that makes harness. You tell them the head unit and the vehicle and they make it, all you have to do is plug it in. The thing is I can't remember their name but I will look because I bought one for my camaro.
Start checking stuff kconine. Could be the ground or continuous wire, could just be a fuse. It's just trial and error.

Well the red is ingnition 12v and theres a yellow wich is continuous 12v. You shouldn't have to use both grounds either.

Remember, the 08 doesn't have an acccessory turn. Your Kenwood will need it so it doesn't stay on when you turn off the truck. Def make sure you get a harness made for what ever year they started doing the canbus system (06?). It really shouldn't matter if its for a 1500 or not.
