Hey everyone. I have a 2015 2500 6.7 cummins with a RaceMe Ultra tuner. Ever since I installed it I've been having a problem. The gauges and numbers won't update and sometimes they just disappear. It doesn't affect the truck at all, it runs perfect. It usually starts to update the numbers faster after I've been driving for awhile. Also it will display correctly on startup but about 2 minutes after it goes back to doing the same thing. If I press on the touchpad and select the gauges again it will be stuck in the "Please Wait" phase for quite some time and then display an error code (#1).

I've tried to unplug it from the OBD and plug it back in but that didn't work. I tried to unplug the cable that connects the tuner to the engine and plugging it back in but that didn't work. I tried to update it even though there isn't a firmware update. Seems like Im not getting anywhere. I got a video of what it looks like. Even though it is idling, it should be displaying the numbers faster since I have it set to the highest speed for updating the gauge values.

has anyone had this issue? Im thinking it could be a defective tuner but I figured I'd ask around first before I contact RaceME for an answer.

Here is the link for the video of the tuner

And a picture of the error code after the 'Please Wait" is done:

That happens when there’s a connection issue.

Have you tried unplugging the the commod module and reconnecting? Supposedly, the new ones have pins that sometimes need removed.

Also, I noticed the background. Maybe send RaceMe an email.

I have not tried to unplug the controller yet. I will probably try to disconnect the whole system and redo all of the connections just to make sure everything is in right. Ill update you with the results. I appreciate the response.

Yeah these things are finicky, especially the connection where the two black boxes connect together.
