I have a 5 inch straight pipe that’s obnoxious and hurts my 5 month old sons ears and want to tone it down. But still want to keep my MPG’s and a little bit of a bark. I’ve been looking at the mbrp “quiet tone muffler”. It says it’s tones it down 10 DB but is that really a lot? Let me know what you think.

Is it how loud it is or is it the drone? I had 5" flo-pro with muffler on my 95 and it sounded good with minimal drone. Mpg wont be effected either way.

I have no first hand experience with it but remember reading that the Donaldson 51" muffler works well. I think @Clunk has one.

i currently have MBRP, nice sound

ihave in the past had, FLO PRO, and Donaldson 51".

the donaldson has a traditional TRACTOR sound...but not loud at all.
