Does anybody know for a fact if the truck will regen while using cruise control or do i need to leave cruise off to go into regen?

well i guess that sucks for me. already had my turbo cleaned once, probably gonna happen again. i drive from AL to SC twice a month, and while in SC, I haul equipment for a family member. but on the 5 hour drive to and from, i always use cruise. I wonder why they wouldn't allow the egr system to go into regen while using cruise? I know I am developing plenty of heat at 75-80MPH. Go Figure...
