i saw something the other day and cant find it it was about putting a resitor in to fool the ecm and add more fuel any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

I don't know of any resistor mod for a cummins but i've heard this about some of the 7.3 powerstrokes. A resistor can be wired into the high pressure oil sensor circuit to build more oil pressure on top of the injectors to raise the fuel injection pressure...of coures you can't do this on a cummins.

you sure your not asking about a smoke switch, basically the same thing, you hook to the +5 v and negative on the map sensor, put in a resistor so it doesnt throw a cel or go limp, and when the truck is boosting up, the map sensor still reads zero boost so keeps adding full fuel....
