any good easy way to find out if i have a 2004 or 2004.5? i guess for some things it matters and im not sure...

is there something different in the VIN?

just a curious question from a newb

Look on the driver's side of the valve cover. There is a sticker with lots of info on it. One of the things it will say is 325HP or 325ISB. That is your HP rating if it's an 04.5. If it says 235,250, or 305 instead then it's an early 04 truck.....
