To all those with long wheel base trucks (QC/LB, or Mega Cab), and have installed a one-piece driveshaft:

Besides getting rid of the take-off shudder, does this mod also get rid of the weird vibration around 1700 rpm (40mph in 3rd, 60mph in OD on an auto)? :confused013:

I'm thinking its worth a shot.

i emailed Tom Woods of Woodys Custom Driveshaft about this particular question he wrote back and said:I would suspect the overall length would prohibit the use of a single piece drive shaft. The only way to know would be to have a center to center of

so i figure i'll get a measurement and email it to him and see what he thinks

I don't get it. Is he questioning whether or not you can use a one-piece shaft on the long wheelbase trucks?

There are several folks on here who have done it.
