I think something may be wrong with my passenger mirror when putting in reverse. It does not tilt near as much as the driver mirror, only tilts slightly to be exact.

Is this normal? Or is something wrong with mine?

Have you actually measured the angle?

The visual perception you have is distorted by the distance and angle you are looking the mirror.

Drivers side is closer to you and the angle of the line from your eye to middle of mirror is steeper than it is on passenger side, due the distance.

I experienced same issue on charter busses and 18-wheelers as when I was looking how far the mirror glass comes out from the housing, the passenger side was always more tilted.

Both mine move the same. Did you try to reset them that may help since you can select the tilt.

The owners manual is pretty bad in most cases on explaining some of these features. Try this: shift to reverse with engine running. Set both mirrors where you want them while backing up. Shift back to drive...mirrors should go back to original adjustment. Shift to reverse again and see if they go back where you just had them.

I'll give it a try today and report back. Thanks.

Ok...just tried it. Didn't work.
After shifting back to D, the mirrors tilted up to where I originally had them set. So far, so good; however, when I shifted back to R, they only tilted down to where they did before I adjusted them.

Put it in reverse, and let the mirrors tilt down. Then adjust each of the mirrors to the exact location you want them to be. Put it back in drive and go. Next time you put it in reverse, the mirrors will default to the angle you want them at.

Not trying to be a smart A, but did you read all the comments above? 3 of us tried this, and it does not work.
