I'm considering some 50hp DDP nozzles and was wondering if it would be worth the money with a stock turbo and cp3? My main concern is cylinder temps and egt's when towing. I wasn't sure if the stock turbo would handle the 50's or not.

I thought about doing a bigger turbo but wasn't sure if I should do that w/o nozzles. I was under the impression you do nozzles/turbo as a package to get the most HP out of the motor. I was worried that too much fuel/air mods would hurt me when I tow heavy (in terms of heat/drive train limitations). I'll have about $1000 to spend so looking for best mod for the money.

Previous owner put about $3000 worth of mods on this truck and I feel I have an excellent platform to start with. I have the dyno sheet where this truck did 490rwhp at beans with an anarchy race file, so I would imagine the nozzles would easily put me over 500 horse.

I'm assuming you have EFILive?? Usually you should upgrade turbo before fuel but if you have EFIlive you can get around that by contacting your tuner and having them write you a custom file to limit the amount of fuel.

As for 50hp sticks and stock cp3 you will be fine. I'm actually in the process of going 100hp sticks but will be throwing on an airdog shortly.

Yes I have EFI. I also have an airdog 165 so I know it will supply more than enough fuel for the motor.
Call anarchy I'm sure they will know exactly what you need. I'm basically doing the same thing but with bigger nozzles.
