A fellow came to the shop to today with an 04 3500 drw, and he has added a service bed to the truck. The truck has the small mirrors, they are heated and power. Just wondering if he bought the flip out mirrors that are power and heated would they just plug right in or does some mods have to be done to make them fit the truck.

They will just swap in with no problem. Same connectors, same polt pattern.

Be sure to buy the OEM Dodge type, aftermarket are a not built as good.

Those are off a 08 correct? And yes they just plug in and bolt in takes about 10-15 min to swap over.... and it makes a huge difference on looks and vision to the rear!

My local dealer will sell me the factory mirrors with heat and power for $315.70 + tax, but no shipping and there in stock. I have an account that is 10% of dealer cost.

thats better than what I paid. the second day i had my truck i parallel parked it and forgot to fold the drivers side mirror in. a city bus came by and took the mirror off. dealer charged me 450 to fix it. i was under the understanding it was covered under the warranty until they handed me the bill.

Found my tow mirrors on ebay for $250 shipped, they are the factory dodge mirrors, heated and power. Mounts and connectors are the same.

Thanks for all the info. I found a set on e-bay last night and called him today and he said he had bought a manual set for 180 bucks.

thats not my specific truck but i have a set just like it.
you can get them at any dodge dealer for $570/set.
they are true plug and play as long as you have the
mirror heater and power options already on the truck.
